Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Following the success of his recently released 4:44, JAY-Z returns to his hometown of New York City to headline The Meadows Music and Arts Festival. Taking place from Friday, September 15th – Sunday, September 17th in Queens, New York, this unique music festival not only spotlights some of the biggest artists of this generation, but also emphasizes food, culture and the arts.

With the festival less than a month away, set times are now available at TheMeadowsNYC.com. Music fans can customize their own festival schedule by downloading the 2017 Meadows festival app for their Android or IOS device, available here smarturl.it/themeadowsapp .

Programming highlights include Friday at The Meadows Stage, which features back-to-back sets from Migos, Run The Jewels and JAY-Z. Saturday’s scheduling features Erykah Badu, leading into sets from Future and then Gorillaz (with the opportunity to catch M.I.A.’s first show in NYC in a long time nestled in between).

Sunday is a homecoming party with sets from Queens natives NAS and Action Bronson. With a diverse and dynamic lineup of performers scheduled to take the stage at The Meadows Music and Arts Festival this September, music fans will have no shortage of options to choose between as they map out their plans for each day.

In true Hov fashion, this year’s The Meadows Music and Arts Festival will also be livestreamed exclusively by TIDAL. The livestream will feature performances from all four festival stages as they take place from deep within the heart of Queens.
