Earlier this week, Houston got a visit from its friendly neighborhood Spiderman.

Children at the George R. Brown Convention Center, which has been converted to a shelter for those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey, were thrilled to see an unidentified person dressed as Spiderman coming to visit them.

The Marvel hero brought stickers and toys to play with the kids and to bring smiles to the faces of those who had lost so much in the wake of the destruction of the devastating storm.

Check out videos of the adorable interactions from Spectrum News.

Harvey, which has been downgraded to a tropical storm, has caused devastating damage in Texas and Louisiana since making landfall. Tens of thousands of people have been displaced after Harvey dumped a historic amount of rainfall in its wake.
