‘F*ck you and the horse you rode in on’: Sheriff Clarke lashes out at reporter

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke went off on a reporter for his hometown newspaper.

Daniel Bice, a self-described “political watchdog columnist” for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, had sent Clarke a series of questions related to the news that the sheriff’s office was bringing an end to the round-the-clock protection on Clarke’s home.

In response, Clarke simply sent the reporter this message: “‘F— you and the horse you rode in on.’ I’m David Clarke and I approve this message.”

Clarke and his team also apparently sent goading emails to Bice, including one sent by a member of Clarke’s team offering to send Bice an extra small tee shirt with Clarke featured on the shirt, promising “no tax dollars will be used” for the gift.
