Will Smith has released his EDM song “Get Lit,” produced by Jazzy Jeff, and Twitter has already declared it an unmitigated disaster.
Sites like Vice have already described it as a midlife crisis, while others have simply criticized Smith for trying to do what the kids like nowadays.
Others have lambasted the accent that Smith is clearly using in the EDM travesty, and of course, there are the hyperbolic Twitters responses that the song is ruining childhoods and giving people cancer, though considering this is a Friday the 13th release, maybe they’re not too far off.

Will Smith’s new rap single “Get Lit” is bizarre.
He literally attempted a Jamaican accent.

I LOVE Will Smith. Been a fan for a long time. But please, for the love of God, save yourself and do NOT listen to his new song “Get Lit”
