Sources tell BuzzFeed News General H.R. McMaster isn't a fan of his controversial boss
President Donald Trump‘s national security advisor H.R. McMaster reportedly mocked the commander-in-chief’s intelligence at a private dinner earlier this year.
Sources tell BuzzFeed News that the army general trashed Trump’s inability to grasp matters related to the National Security Council. McMaster reportedly slammed the POTUS as an “idiot” and a “dope” with the intelligence of a “kindergartner,” according to four people who overheard the conversation with Oracle CEO Safra Catz.
Both Oracle and the Trump administration denied the comments that Catz later recounted, BuzzFeed reports.
McMaster’s alleged comments come after NBC News and other outlets reported that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called Trump a “moron” during a Pentagon meeting in July. In October, Republican Sen. Bob Corker told the New York Times that a group of senior administration officials were trying to keep tame an out-of-control Trump.
