The Insecure star recruited her real-life besties for a new commercial for the makeup line and we’re trying to figure out how to infiltrate her clique.
In the commercial, the comedienne and her girlfriends are ready to turn up for a girl’s night out that wouldn’t be complete without the perfect pout.
Their silly jokes and hilarious banter is exactly what we would imagine happening when Issa Rae and her friends get together to hit the town.

Aside from showing off for the beauty brand, Issa Rae is gearing up for the season 3 premiere of her hit HBO series on August 12.
This season will focus on “toxic masculinity” and several fan favorites including Y’lan Noel, Yvonne Orji, Amanda Seales, and Natasha Rothwell will be back for more laughs. No word on whether or not we will get too see any more of Jay Ellis this time around, but our fingers are crossed.
Rae spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, about the show’s return and the new territory of topics she plans to explore, but we’ll have to wait a while longer for anything specific.
“I don’t want to give anything away!” Rae said.
“But I love Black masculinity as it relates to Black women. I think that’s something interesting that we haven’t gotten a chance to explore yet — and specifically toxic male Black masculinity as it relates to Black women. I’m trying to find a way to explore that and get a rounded storyline that isn’t preachy.”
Insecure, which was created by Rae and Larry Wilmore, has enjoyed ratings success as it tells the story of two Black women and their friendship through the insecurities and awkwardness of real life.
