Cops accused of beating up man in Crown Heights

In a lawsuit Crown Heights resident Jabbar Campbell claims NYPD officers tampered with security cameras before beating him up outside his home.

Officers responded to a noise complaint at Campbell’s apartment.  Campbell was throwing a gay pride party and said he immediately told the DJ to lower to music volume.  Campbell stated that he then returned downstairs where the officers were and alleges he was beaten.

Campbell received 19 stitched in his lip as a result of the altercation.
