Diamond and Silk insist that climate change is due to the Earth rotating ‘1,000 miles per hour’

The infamous Trump loving duo continue to peddle ignorance and pander the conservative right's fancy

On Friday's episode of Fox & Friends, Pro-Trump commentators Diamond and Silk unleashed a nauseating diatribe against Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and 2020 presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke, who they compared to a “slave owner.”

Pro-Trump commentators Diamond and Silk hit up Fox & Friends on Friday morning where they unleashed a nauseating diatribe against Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and 2020 presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke, who they compared to a “slave owner.”

Considered by many Black progressives to be a modern-day minstrel show, Diamond and Silk’s segment quickly went viral after their on-air rant about Ocasio-Cortez’s policies on climate change and the Green New Deal, as reported by Esquire.

“You have to realize, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, she’s reckless, she’s clueless and she has a vacuous mindset. First of all, civil rights have nothing to do with climate change,” said Diamond, AKA Lynette Hardaway. “Second of all, her Green New Deal is a green new scam that we must stay away from. Now, I know that she is worried about climate change but she needs to talk to Mother Nature.”

She added, “With the Earth rotating at 1,000 miles per hour, okay, 365 days of the year. We’re subject to feel climate changing a little bit, but not to the tune where we have to dismantle everything and start the Earth back over again. It’s an absolutely ‘no’ for us.”

The hosts then turned their attention to O’Rourke, who at a recent campaign event slammed President Trump for calling Mexicans “rapists” and asylum seekers “animals.”

“The president of the United States has called Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals,” O’Rourke said in Iowa on Thursday. “He then went on to call asylum-seekers animals and an infestation. Now we would not be surprised if in the Third Reich other human beings were described as an infestation, as a cockroach or a pest that you would want to kill.”

Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade attempted to clarify Trump’s remarks by noting “that was MS-13 he was referring to, and they are animals.”

Asked to respond to O’Rourke, Diamond said, “When I listen to Beto O’Rourke, his rhetoric, it reminds me of a slave owner. Anytime you want to tear down existing walls, and allow poor people to flow into our country, and have them living in the shadows, working for slave wages, that makes you a slave owner.”

She then suggested that “Beto O’Rourke need to look at himself,” with Silk (AKA Rochelle Richardson) chiming in with “And his own rhetoric.”

“Right. Is what he need to do,” Diamond concluded.

The network then reminded its viewers that even more compelling rhetoric can be heard on Fox Nation for just $5.99 a month.
