CHICAGO – Former high school guidance counselor and basketball coach Bryan Craig said he was wrongfully dismissed from his school after it surfaced he had published a ‘racy’ book. Craig said the book in question, “It’s Her Fault,” was meant “give women a road map to having the upper hand in a relationship with a man,” according to the Chicago Tribune.

“I’ve been wronged,” Craig told WMAQ-TV’s Christian Farr. “I just expressed my opinion in a book and it had nothing to do with my position as guidance counselor.”

The Chicago Tribune reports that Rich Township High School District voted unanimously to fire Craig last week. Craig has filed a $1 million federal lawsuit against the district and its school board.

One excerpt from the book contains a line about Craig’s “weakness for cleavage,” and other passages give women advice on how to perform oral sex. The book deals with other topics as well – including the “differences between the vaginas of black women and white women,” according to an August Patch.com report.

“It’s not for school-age children at all,” Craig told WMAQ of his book. “Adults shouldn’t have a problem with it.”
