LISTEN: Anita Baker covers Tyrese's ‘Lately’ on new album

The eight-time Grammy Award winning songstress, Anita Baker, has released “Lately” the debut single off of her first album in seven years.  The song is a remake of the original “Lately” released R&B singer Tyrese Gibson in 1999.

Baker’s full length 10-track album, Only Forever is due out in stores October 23. Some of Baker’s most memorable songs include “Sweet Love,” “Giving You the Best That I Got,” “I Apologize,” and “Body and Soul.”
