MTV2 has put a different spin on the classic Hollywood Squares game show. In true MTV fashion the new show is tailored to a younger, more musically inclined crowd and it’s called Hip Hop Squares.

The show features the famous nine tic-tac-toe quadrants, but this time they’re filled with hip-hop personalities, as well as comedians like JB Smoove. The show is currently set for a 10-episode run and the ratings are already breaking network records. Hip Hop Squares‘ debut on Tuesday, May 22 at 11pm recorded MTV2’s highest rated and most watched series launch in the coveted age 12-34 demographic.

Some of the hip-hop personalities set to appear on the show include Nick Cannon, DJ Khaled, Biz Markie, Ghostface Killah, Fat Joe, Mac Miller and MGK ; as well as Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lamarr Woodley and actress Kat Graham.
