Entertainment Weekly writer Benjamin Svetkey sat down with Shakur in this 1994 interview, a few months after he was released from prison after being accused of raping a woman.

Tupac’s tone is reflective at times but also hurt as he felt the media was out to “get him” and how he feels constantly alone and without companions and friends.
