Philadelphia Police named a teen as the second suspect in the callous killing of a Fishtown convenience store clerk last month.

Marvelle Hargrove, 17, of the 2400 block of North 28th Street and 1900 block of North 25th Street is believed to be the second man who allegedly robbed Trax Food on the 1200 block of Front Street around 3 a.m. on May 26.

Mustafa Shakur, who was working the overnight shift alone at time, was killed after being shot in the head at close range, police said.

The triggerman was allegedly 20-year-old Quasheam Richburg.

Hargrove, who is known to hang out with Richburg in the area of the 2500 block of Ridge Avenue, is charged with murder and robbery, cops said.

He could possibly be on the loose with Richburg, according to police.

Surveillance video shows the two suspects coming into the store and demanding money. When Shaker didn’t cooperate, the suspects tried to lift the entire cash register, but couldn’t — then Richburg allegedly fired off two shots, killing the 50-year-old clerk instantly, cops said.

Police released surveillance video taken from the store that showed the entire chilling killing and robbery.

“The employee puts his hands up, he’s actually backing away from them. The only thing he says is, ‘I’m not gonna open up the register,’ and with that he fires two shots from the sawed-off shotgun at a close range,” Police Capt. James Clark said.

The two men then robbed the store and fled on foot, cops said. The cash register was hanging from wires off the counter and an undetermined amount of money was missing.

Police quickly focused in on Richburg who has a history of violet crime arrests, according to court records. A $2,500 reward for info leading to the arrest of Richburg was issued by the U.S. Marshal Service was issued Monday.

Also on Monday — about 10 days after the killing — police released information on Hargrove. The 17-year-old is 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds, cops said.

Anyone with information on this shooting and/or either suspect is asked to call 911 immediately and to contact Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334/3335.
