WE tv delays Tamar Braxton’s reality show after suicide attempt
The network said that they are joining with her friends and fan, hoping that Tamar is getting the help that she needs
Get Ya Life!, the new reality series starring Tamar Braxton, has been delayed due to her apparent suicide attempt.
The network says that it is concerned for Braxton’s recovery and well-being first of all.

WE tv wrote, “At this moment we are joining with her fans and sending strength and healing in the hope that she is getting the support and help she needs at this difficult time.”
In a statement sent to TMZ, WE tv shared that Braxton is “an incredibly important member” of their network family.
Braxton was rushed to a hospital on July 16 after she was found unconscious in her hotel room in Los Angeles. A scathing letter that she wrote to the network was later anonymously released.
In the letter, she compared the network to “cruel white slave masters who once chained our forefathers, and the oppressive police forces that now terrorize our communities.”
She further stated, “I hope those ratings were worth it because you succeeded in destroying a great Black family.”
A family insider allegedly told Page Six that Braxton was unhappy that the network had selected Love and Hip Hop producer Mona Scott Young to produce Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life.
“Tamar felt ambushed,” said an insider. “She was invited to the network to have a meeting to talk about the show and the premise of the show … and right there sitting down is Mona. The person she said she did not want to work with.”

In a statement to The Blast, earlier this week David Adefeso said that Braxton remains hospitalized.
“Tamar is currently receiving the best available medical attention to address those struggles and strengthen her mental health, and her family and I will remain by her side throughout her treatment,” he said.
He continued, “This is an extremely difficult time for Tamar and her family as she navigates professional and personal struggles including her battle with depression.”
