A week ago, singer Chris Brown deleted his Twitter account after a heated exchange with comedian and TV producer Jenny Johnson. Last night Brown returned to Twitter and already has over 11 million followers as of Monday afternoon.

On Instagram Sunday night Brown also posted a picture of him and singer Rihanna casually on a couch, with Brown smoking a cigarette and Rihanna in lingerie and an army fatigue blanket. The former couple has recently been seen out together in public and have posted various pictures of one another on social media.

Brown made no comment about his time away from Twitter, but the bio on his new page reads, “Keep it here for all things Chris Brown, updates from the tour and more … #CarpeDiem.” Brown has yet to tweet and has no links to his previous Twitter history.

In the Brown and Johnson ordeal that originally caused the singer to delete his account, Brown first tweeted, “I look old as f—! I’m only 23.”

Johnson responded to the comment, “I know! Being a worthless piece of s— can really age a person.”

Brown shot back with, “Take them teeth out when u Sucking my d— HOE.”

Johnson replied, “It’s ‘HO’ not ‘HOE’ you ignorant f—.”

The two went back and forth with crude humor and sexual references toward one another.

The comedian wrapped up her comments by writing, “Okay. I’m done. All I got from that exchange with Chris Brown is that he wants to s— and fart on me … I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing.”

Johnson has since written a non-apologetic essay to GQ magazine on Friday, in which she says she does not regret anything she said, but she has learned a lot from the incident that has resulted in several thousand death threats.

“This is not an apology. I just want to clear some things up,” Johnson began, summarizing what went down during the heated Twitter exchange.
