Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Actor Samuel L. Jackson posted a photo of himself on Twitter wearing an “I’m not Laurence Fishburne” T-shirt.

The shirt comes after the awkward exchange Jackson had with KTLA Morning News entertainment reporter Sam Rubin in February.

Jackson appeared on KTLA to promote his new movie at the time, Robocop, but Rubin asked him, “did you get a lot of reaction for that Super Bowl commercial?”

The problem was that Jackson did not appear in a Super Bowl commercial, however African-American actor Laurence Fishburne did.

Jackson became visibly upset.

“What Super Bowl commercial?” he said. “See, you’re as crazy as the people on Twitter. I’m not Laurence Fishburne!”

Jackson added, “We don’t all look alike!”

In an effort to mock last month’s exchange, Jackson donned a T-shirt sure to differentiate himself from Fishburne.
