Taraji P. Henson slams 50 Cent's criticism of 'Empire': 'I pay attention to dollars, not cents'

theGRIO REPORT - Taraji P. Henson is speaking out and slamming 50 Cent's criticism of her new series 'Empire'...

It looks like Taraji P. Henson and 50 Cent have beef.

Last week, the rapper/actor slammed Henson’s new Fox series Empire and said the show copied the marketing scheme for his scripted Starz drama, Power.

POWER Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me,” he posted on Instagram, accompanied by a video clip of a Power ad. “I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson. I don’t like that They would copy the Marketing.”

Empire star Henson didn’t let 50’s comments go by without having her two cents.

When one of her Twitter followers asked her to comment on 50 Cent’s criticism of Empire, she wrote, “I pay attention to $’s NOT cents.”

She later responded to another user who questioned her statement about not having time for small change.

“IJS (I’m just saying) I couldn’t even find the “cent” sign!! #ByeBi**h #Empire,” Henson tweeted.

Tune in for the premiere episode of Empire tomorrow night at 9/8c to forge your own opinion of the new series.
