Kanye West’s epic meltdown backstage at ‘SNL’ is his most disturbing

Kanye West had perhaps his most epic and disturbing meltdown backstage before taping Saturday Night Live, and PageSix has obtained the audio of it.

In the audio, West can be heard telling NBC staffers “Don’t f—k with me” and calling Taylor Swift, with whom he is current feuding, “fake a–.”

The meltdown allegedly began because some of the SNL production staff ripped up part of the shiny floor of his stage because it was reflecting the lights and creating a confusing effect on the video wall behind West.

Guess who wants to invest $10M into Kanye’s ideas?

After the floor was ripped up, the audio begins, in which West can be heard shouting, “Are they f—–g crazy? Whoa by 50 percent [I am more influential than] Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f—–g Picasso and Escobar. By 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t f–k with me. By 50 percent dead or alive, by 50 percent for the next 1,000 years. Stanley Kubrick, ‘Ye.”

“Look at that s–t they took my f—–g stage off’a SNL without asking me. I am bummed … If I am going to do this we are breaking the m———–g Internet,” he continued.

A source told PageSix that Lorne Michaels had to step in and reason with the rapper to keep him from bolting during the live show: “It was like he was having an emotional breakdown. He was calling the crew ‘white m———–s’ and then said he was going to walk out. The only thing that stopped him from actually leaving right then was that nobody had access to the freight elevator. If he’d walked out on the live show, it would have been a disaster. And the whole meltdown was just because of the floor.”
