Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

On Thursday during a stop on his “Saint Pablo” tour, Kanye West told a crowd at San Jose that he didn’t vote, but if he had exercised that right, he would have voted for Donald Trump.

“I said something that was kind of politically correct. I told y’all I didn’t vote, right? What I didn’t tell you … If I were to have voted I would have voted on Trump,” West told the audience, who greeted the news with a mixture of boos and cheers.

“I’m a human being too, I have feelings, I liked the debates, I’m a guy and a rapper, I’m a non-political rebel, the debates were entertaining,” West argued after announcing that he would be running for president in 2020 so that he would be able to become “a different type of President.”

West went on to say that he felt the Internet muddied the waters when it came to the election.

“Echoing is what made people think Hillary was going to win, you thought because what the Internet was telling you, that she was gonna win,” he said.

Of course, since this was West’s first tour stop since Election Day, many fans were not pleased with what they felt was a move by the controversial rapper to cozy up to the president elect.
