Charles Oakley was arrested and dragged out of a Knicks game after he reportedly bought a seat behind team owner James Dolan and heckled him.

“I didn’t do nothing … this is bulls—t,” the former Knicks player said as he was handcuffed and taken away by police. Oakley was removed from the game and charged with three counts of assault and criminal trespass, all misdemeanors.

A source close to the situation, who asked not to be identified, said that Oakley bought the seat but was arrested simply because “you don’t sit there and heckle James Dolan.” However, a second source maintained that Oakley “smelled of alcohol” and “may have had too much to drink.”

Oakley was allegedly arrested after security approached him and he exchanged heated words with them, at which point Dolan asked for him to be removed and the confrontation turned physical.

As Oakley was pulled out of the crowd, the other Knicks watched in astonishment.

The Knicks have since released a statement about the incident, saying: “Charles Oakley came to the game tonight and behaved in a highly inappropriate and completely abusive manner. He has been ejected and is currently being arrested by the New York city Police Department. He was a great Knick and we hope he gets some help soon.”
