There was a little bit of mystery when it came to why Omarosa was taken out of the Celebrity Big Brother house and transported to the hospital but now we know what happened. She suffered an asthma attack and needed treatment to make sure she was okay.

“Omarosa has returned to the Celebrity Big Brother house after receiving medical attention last night and today for an asthma attack,” CBS said in a statement. This development will be addressed on the Sunday night broadcast.”

Viewers knew something was wrong when viewers of the livestream heard Marissa Jared Winokur and Ross Matthews talking about her hospitalization.

Winokur was heard saying, “Ross, all I’m going to say is, this is hilarious that you and I knocked out those people. I put her [Manigault Newman] in the hospital! She’s gonna be okay.”

Some of the houseguests were wondering if it was all a play by Omarosa to get some rest in the hospital but her absence is easily explained by CBS’ protocol of having contestants checked out when there is a medical emergency. While out of the house she would have been supervised by a producer to ensure she did not have access to information that she shouldn’t see. This is to make sure that she doesn’t get an unfair advantage over her competition.

Omarosa, 44, left her job at the White House in December. “It has been very, very challenging being the only African-American woman in the senior staff,” she said at the time.

On the premiere episode of Celebrity Big Brother she told Ross Matthews that she was deeply concerned for the country under Trump. Ross said he felt everything will be okay but she disagreed.

“It’s not going to be OK. It’s not,” she said before adding that she was “haunted by tweets” that the President posted while she was working for him.
