Looks like rapper Cardi B is having a lucky week; Not only is the “Bodak Yellow” rapper trademarking one of her signature phrases, but she just escaped charges after a fan was beaten by her security team at last year’s MET Gala.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources have told them that Cardi B, Offset and Quavo’s security team is off the hook after an assault on an autograph seeker. The alleged victim in the case has refused to cooperate with NYPD officials. Video of the incident shows the rappers leaving a MET Gala party while another video shows guards for the trio beating and stomping a man on the ground. A third video shows the man being taken into an ambulance.

The rappers have been accused of ordering the attack on the “overzealous” fan, but no one on their security team has been arrested in relation to the incident. TMZ also noted that in the end, Cardi B and Migos were going to be the only ones facing charges, but no charges are moving forward in the now-closed assault case. They are not completely out of the woods yet as the lawyer for the victim, Daniel Szalkiewicz, filed a claim last May for a civil suit for injuries suffered to his client’s face, neck, back and body during the attack.

On the other side of the coin, Cardi B has officially filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office this week to trademark her signature catchphrase, “okurrr.”

According to Complex, Cardi B plans on using the phrase for “paper goods, namely paper cups and posters.” And she also hopes to use it for additional monetarily valuable items like “clothing, namely, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, pants, shorts, jackets, footwear, headgear, namely hats and caps, blouses, bodysuits, dresses, jumpsuits, leggings, shirts, sweaters, undergarments.”

Making sure to be specific, Cardi B has put in for “okurrr,” with both two and three “R’s” as a precaution, Complex noted.

The rapper has previously described the phrase to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show as a sound “a cold pigeon in New York City” would make.
