CNN commentator, Angela Rye speaks out against inappropriateĀ ‘vaginal pat down’ by TSA

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

CNN political commentator Angela Rye is upset with the TSA, and most people would say for good reason.

The outspoken woman was traveling on Thursday night when she was ordered to undergo an embarrassing and invasive security search by a TSA worker.

Even though she had enrolled in TSA pre-check and was a member of the expedited security processing program CLEAR, she was randomly flagged for examination. And examine her they did.

Rye was given a vaginal pat down after walking through two security scanners while on her way to New York.

She discussed the humiliating ordeal on Twitter. “TSA grabs vaginas like Donald Trump,” she said in a Periscope video she posted to her timeline.

As more people became interested in what she had to say, she continued to go into detail about the degrading incident. Rye was more than willing to answer questions from her followers about it as well.

She blames the TSA policies that are in place for what happened and says that itā€™s time for them to change.

Rye had asked one of the police officers present to film the pat down so that she could use it to spread awareness about how disgraceful this practice really is. She shared the video on her timeline as well.

“I asked the police officer to film this so I can send toĀ @TSA. I’m hoping my humiliation will fix the system,” she tweeted.
