REPORTS: Drake wants to trademark “God’s Plan” for potential game show

It seems Drizzy isn't done making money off the phrase.

 

It looks like Drake has big plans to extend the life of his hit song, “God’s Plan”

According to reports, the rapper is in the process of trying to trademark the phrase for use on future projects ranging from clothing, marketing and promotions and may even be eyeing a game show for television or the internet.

Page Six says they obtained documents showing the Canadian-born used his music video for the user-successful single as well as several news publications about the song as evidence that he should get the rights to the phrase.

Drake was reportedly unhappy that folks made their own coins off of “YOLO” a phrase made popular by his 2011 hit, “The Motto.”

Even though Drake is busy killing the music game it seems he has time to add a new television project to his long list of obligations.

The superstar rapper is set to executive produce a new teen drama for HBO along with Future the Prince and we can’t wait to see what they serve up. Euphoria will star Zendaya and A Wrinkle In Time star, Storm Reid and will be penned by Wizard of Lies writer, Sam Levinson.

According to Deadline, the teen saga will feature several famous faces including Maude Apatow, Brian “Astro” Bradley, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Hunter Schafer and Sydney Sweeney.
