Hip-hop icon Lil Kim wants you to know she’s tired of talking about Nicki Minaj

As fans settle in to listen to Nicki Minaj’s new album Queen that dropped today – and not next Friday as originally planned – the “Queen Bee” Lil Kim is apparently tired of female rappers being pitted against each other and specifically being asked about her longtime rival Nicki.
“Oh God, let me ask you this, Do you f— with me for real,” Lil Kim said while being interviewed on Los Angeles hip-hop station Real 92.3 on Thursday. “If you f— with me then why isn’t this about Kim?
“If we gonna mention one female, we need to mention them all,” she added. “We need to bring everybody in and we need to show everybody love.”

The beef between the two has been cooking for nearly a decade, dating back to 2009. Kim has never been shy about taking unprompted shots at Nicki and others in interviews, songs, and tweets. But now? She wants to show everyone love.
“God bless [Nicki],” she added. “She did what she did, until she’s ready, hopefully, God puts it on her mind to do the right thing because she knows what she did. Once that happens, hopefully everyone will stop asking me.”

Later in the interview, Lil Kim was asked about her past issues with Remy Ma – who also famously beefed with Nicki – and she continued to beat the drum of unity among women in rap.
“That automatically puts females against each other,” she said. “Let each female shine, when Remy’s up here, ask her about her f—ing dope ass bars.”
