Nicki Minaj fans savagely troll Tracy Chapman after she declines sample request
The Barbz have no chill.
Nicki Minaj dropped her long-awaited and twice-delayed album, Queen, last week but it was missing a song lots of fans were waiting for.
The rapper blamed her second delay on trouble getting Tracy Chapman to clear a sample and she ended up releasing the album without it. Over the weekend, she decided to treat fans to the track in question, “Sorry” featuring Nas on Funkmaster Flex‘s Hot 97 radio show.
The version that was played on the radio doesn’t include Chapman’s vocals, but instead has Nicki singing her lyrics.
“My baby can I hold you tonight?/And maybe if I told you the right words/ Ooh, at the right time.”
No word on the official reason Tracy Chapman refused to clear the song, but Nicki’s loyal fans are pissed and have taken to social media to troll the Grammy winner.

SO MESSY: Safaree Samuels claims Nicki Minaj cut him with a knife
We’re just waiting for them to come down on Nicki’s ex, Safaree Samuels, who engaged in a heated Twitter exchange with the rapper on Tuesday morning and accused her of cutting him with a knife back in 2014.
“Remember the night you cut me and i almost died the police and ambulance had to take me out the crib on a stretcher and I had to lie and tell them I was trying to kill myself so they wouldn’t take you to jail. When things like that start happening more Than once it’s time to dip,” he posted.
“Towards the end it got toxic and I just packed up and left. I did things for spite and so did you. I don’t wish you bad and I don’t want us back together just like I’m sure you don’t. I don’t need you you don’t need me but we will always be linked in the public no matter what.”
Instead of ignoring her ex’s antics, Nicki Minaj fired back at the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star and alleged he stole money from her and got hair plugs.
