"I would have suggested that it might upset some people, like your wife, or, like, every Black person, ever," Pete Davidson said about the rapper's MAGA cap.

Our long national nightmare is over.

A week after his disastrous Saturday Night Live appearance and subsequent tweets calling for the repeal of the 13th Amendment, Kanye West has deleted his social media accounts again.

No more tweets. No more Instagram—at least for now

West claimed that he was “bullied” for wearing his infamous MAGA hat all week long during rehearsals before going on a nonsensical Trump-supporting rant after the show went off the air. The rant went viral online after legendary SNL alum Chris Rock posted it on social media.

SNL star Pete Davidson half-jokingly responded to West during Saturday night’s “Weekend Update” segment. Davidson, sitting next to comedian Michael Che, called on Kanye to get himself together as well as setting the record straight on “bullying.”

“So Kanye was wearing a ‘MAGA’ hat, and he started by saying people backstage tried to bully him into not wearing it,” Davidson said. “He wore it all week. Nobody told him not to wear it—I wish I would have suggested that it might upset some people, like your wife, or, like, every Black person, ever.”

“Kanye is a genius,” he added, “but a musical genius, like Joey Chestnut is a hot-dog eating genius. I don’t want to hear Joey Chestnut’s opinions about things that aren’t hot dog-related.”

Kanye’s mental health has even been wrongfully conflated to his support of the bigoted Trump. Davidson, who has been open about his mental health issues, also pointed out how West has bragged about not taking his medication and begged him to take it.

“Kanye, I know you’re like, ‘Yo, this is the real me, I’m off the meds’,” he said. “Take ’em. There’s no shame in the medicine game. I’m on ’em—take ’em! if I ever got on a plane and the pilot said, ‘I just want you all to know this is the real me flying,’ I’d jump out.”

“Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass,” he added. Kanye’s new album “Yahndi”, which he has been attempting to promote, schedule for release in November.

West was also hammered on social media for trying to broker a meeting between Colin Kaepernick and Donald Trump. But nah, Kanye, “you played yourself.”
