Whoopi Goldberg says women have told her they slept with ‘ugly men’ to advance their careers
Whoopi Goldberg is calling out women making claims of having a #MeToo moment and urged some of them to admit to sleeping with “ugly” men to advance their careers.

“Now there’s some things my mother always said to me that I knew were true” the 62-year-old award-winning actress begins.
“It’s like, if some guy said to me we’re gonna have a meeting up in my hotel room, you don’t f***ing go – you don’t go.
“And if you do, cop to it. Say, ‘That’s right I went up there and had sex with that ugly-ass man so I could get an Oscar and a Tony.’”
“Am I talking about myself? No. We have to teach young women better,” she said during a talk in Leeds in the UK on Saturday.
Goldberg will probably take some flak for saying that but the View co-host holds her own at the table and did this year when she defended Bill Cosby against his many accusers and proclaimed that he was innocent.
But after receiving backlash, she later changed directions and walked back her controversial comments and said:
“All the information that is out there kind of points to guilt… It looks bad, Bill. Either speak up or shut up.”
During her October 13 speech, Goldberg also tore into the men who targeted the women speaking up about sexual harassment.
“Apparently American white men are angry… ’cause they’re top of the food chain, they can get anything they f***ing want but it’s not enough – so they’re coming after women.
“Women are saying, ‘Are you kidding me? You can’t put this genie back in the bottle’. Women are not taking any bulls**t.’”
