Nick Cannon links with old Nickelodeon pals in new film

90's Nickelodeon stars Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson, and E.G. Daily reunite to voice animation

Former Nickelodeon stars Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson, and E.G. Daily cast as voices for characters in animated movie ‘Pierre The Pigeon-Hawk.’

Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson, E.G. Daily, along with Whoopi Goldberg and Jennifer Coolidge are all set to play the voices for characters in the new animated movie called, Pierre The Pigeon-Hawk.

According to Deadline, Pierre The Pigeon-Hawk is a “musically driven animated” movie that focuses on Pierre who was born to a hawk and pigeon from a prohibited love affair. Cannon has been “pecked” to play Pierre.

John D. Eraklis, from Exodus Film Group, will direct the feature and handle the production serves and sales, while Cannon’s company Ncredible Entertainment will be in charge of the music. Ciaran Crampton and Chase Murator of Sugar Water Entertainment based in New York City will produce and finance the movie.  

Rounding off the production team is Michael Goldman, who will serve as the executive producer.

The musical comedy is set in New York City and tells the story of how Pierre navigates life as a mixed breed, not fully accepted by the pigeon or hawk communities. Due to this unfortunate event, the pigeon-hawk goes on a journey to find a place where he is accepted. While on his voyage, he meets an interesting group of friends. One includes a bear (who just escaped from the Central Park Zoo), an owl (who is described as a mad genius), and two city squirrels (who both have attitudes). During his mission of finding himself, Pierre becomes an inspiration for all animals to acquire a new mindset about life.

“It will take a hybrid bird to unite a hybrid world,” the site states.

EGOT-winner, Goldberg, will play the voice of Pierre’s mom and Coolidge will play the voice of his aunt. Thompson will play one of the squirrel’s, Sniff.

It’s good to witness Nickelodeon veterans, Cannon (All That)  Thompson (All That and Kenan & Kel) and Daily (Rugrats), come together to work on this film.

We’re sure the movie will be a success!
