Talk show host Wendy Williams made an explosive admission on her show Tuesday that she has been living in a sober house every night, a secret she kept from her closest family and friends, until now.

At the end of her show, Williams stood among her audience members and tearfully admitted what she had been going through.

“Right after the show… you know I’ve had trouble with cocaine in the past and I’ve never went to a place to get treatment. I don’t know how except God was sitting on my shoulder and just stopped. But there are people in your family it might be you who are struggling and I wanted to know more of the story so this is my autobiographical story and I’m living it…

After I go to pilates I go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area and I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help. They don’t know I’m Wendy, they don’t care I’m Wendy. There are no autographs, there’s no nothing. It’s the brothers and sisters caught up in the struggle and it’s been really interesting this ride.

Only Kevin knows about this. Not my parents. Nobody. Nobody knew.

But after I finish my appointments of seeing my brothers and sisters breaking bread, I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in here in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys, who’ve become my family. They hog the TV and watch soccer. And we talk and read and talk and read and then I get bored with them. Doors locked by 10 pm. Lights out by 10 p.m. so I go to my room and I stare at the ceiling and I fall asleep to wake up to come back here to see you.

So that is my truth.”

This revelation comes after Williams took an extended hiatus from her show amid rumors that something was awry in her life with many saying that she might have fallen off the wagon given her past drug use. And there were rumors that her husband Kevin Hunter,  had impregnated the woman he was allegedly having a long-time affair with.

“Either you’re calling me crazy or the bravest woman you know, I don’t care,” she said.

Surely, there’s much more to this story.
