Kodak Black sued for no-shows at three NYC area concerts
Kodak Black, who apparently keeps digging a deeper hole for himself, is now the target of a lawsuit filed by a man who says the rapper has cost him a half million dollars
Kodak Black is finding himself in a tempest of trouble once again after a week of making headlines for a rape charge and for trying to shoot his shot at a grieving Lauren London right after her boyfriend, rapper Nipsey Hussle got killed.

This time, an Arizona man is now suing Black in an effort to get his money back from the rapper who he said refused to make good on a contract to perform three times at NYC area concerts, The Blast reports. Nicholas Fitts said he’s lost at least a half million dollars over the “ZEZE” rapper, who signed a talent engagement agreement with him in 2017.
But it appears that Black took the money, while leaving Fitts high and dry. According to the lawsuit, Black didn’t perform March 3, 2017 in New York. When Fitts tried to reset the dates, he advertised once again and Black reportedly blew off two more dates.
Fitts said he’s “suffered a loss of ticket revenue, directly resulting from Kodak Black’s refusal to fulfill his contractual obligations under the terms of the Agreements, totaling more than $500,000.00, including reimbursement of funds from ticket presales.”
Fitts says his reputation has also taken a hit and he wants $500,000 in damages.
LA’s Power 106 bans Kodak Black music
Things just seems to be getting worse for Black, whose given name is Dieuson Octave, who continues to face backlash after taking to Instagram Live in a crass attempt to hit on Lauren London.
After the Florida-born rapper took to IG to say: “Lauren London, that baby, though. She about to be out here single. She’s finna be a whole widow out here,” Kodak said in the session that went viral. “I’ll be the best man I can be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and shit for [Nipsey].”

The comments prompted LA’s Power 106 to ban his music.
“As a result of his poor judgment, Kodak Black’s presence and his music are no longer welcome at Power 106 in Los Angeles,” Justin Credible tweeted. “We stand with the family of Nipsey Hussle and are appalled by the disrespectful and poor comments made by Kodak Black. With that, Power 106 will not support Kodak Black’s music.”
Kodak’s comment was also bashed by many in the rap community, including T.I. and The Game.
He also faced backlash after releasing a song titled “Pimpin Ain’t Eazy” where he invokes Young M.A., using an anti-gay slur, Pitchfork.com reports, also rapping, “I’m f*ckin’ Young M.A, long as she got a coochie.” She responded: “Obviously, the n**ga is weird.” She added, “I know I’m a female…. But at the end of the day, n**ga, that’s not my preference.”
Prosecutors in South Carolina also say, Black sexually assaulted a high school student in a hotel room in 2016 after performing at a show there.
Officials say he will likely have to return to the state this year to face the charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. The hitmaker is currently on tour in the Southeast, but a local prosecutor tells The State that he will likely have to return to South Carolina either in the summer or early fall.
