“She’s not taking him back. He’s being fired as her manager and she lawyered up big time,” a source told PEOPLE.

Hunter’s having a pretty rough week, as Wendy Williams seems to be finding her groove again. The queen of daytime dish opened up about finally picking up the pieces after she filed for divorce from Hunter and says her next move is to leave a sober living facility and start her life anew with her son.

“Wendy is telling people she had no idea he had been having an affair, but when she found out the details, it turned out he had been seeing the woman he had a baby with for 15-16 years,” the source claims. “That made her realize it was time to move forward with her life. Seek treatment and move on. She’s not taking him back.”

Hunter on the other hand, has been trying to clean up his mess and released a statement apologizing to his wife for his past indiscretions that allegedly includes an affair and the birth of a baby by his mistress Sharina Hudson.

“I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy Williams Hunter, a person that I truly love and respect unconditionally. I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans,” Hunter wrote in his statement.

Hunter said he will continue to support his estranged wife despite the scandal.

I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy Williams Hunter, a person that I truly love and respect unconditionally,” he said. “No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine.”
