The Department of Justice Adds New Database

Jun. 18, 2024 – 03:51 – A national database that tracks serious misconduct by federal law enforcement officers is in place now at the Justice Department. It is an effort to ensure bad actor officers are not hired by other government agencies. The head of the White House Office of public policy Stephen Benjamin spoke to theGrio on this matter. All federal law enforcement agencies will have to submit their information to the new federal database within 60 days of this week’s launch.
