MTV Canada ran a story about a tweet Rihanna supposedly wrote concerning the night Chris Brown abused her. Rihanna, who says she did not write the tweet, responded angrily through her representatives.
The tweet Rihanna supposedly wrote reads: ”’I admit it. I provoked Chris [Brown] to hit me. It not entirely his fault. #imSORRY?’ ”
E! Online is reporting that Rihanna lashed out at MTV Canada for running the story about the alleged text, tweeting: ”@mtvnewscanada are u f**king kiddin me?????? You’re supposed to be a RELIABLE source for news on music and this is the bulls**t u post??”
MTV Canada responded by tweeting ”#Rihanna fans. We were reporting on a story that was posted on several sites today. We had no intention to be salacious.”
