Grio contributor Darius Brown spent the weekend in New Orleans sampling native food, enjoying the scenery and experiencing the unique culture. Some highlights include the local Two Sisters restaurant which boasts delicious dishes such as shrimp with okra, gumbo, and lots of different types of fish.

Another highlight, the cheesecake covered in praline sauce featured at the Praline Connection restaurant surpasses all already high expectations.
