Oh, ye of much self-hate…

Dancehall star Vybz Kartel, who famously effed up bleached his skin earlier this year because he “wanted a different look,” is making sure that dudes everywhere can look just like him. Creepy, I know.

theGrio: Skin bleaching a growing problem in Jamaica slums

Kartel — who, ironically, was recently charged with conspiracy to commit murder — is gearing up to release a line of skin care products targeted to men, which includes various body and skin brightening creams.

Skin bleaching has become a growing problem in Jamaica and other parts of the world. Men and women desperate to lighten their skin have suffered burns, splotchy skin, and many have damaged their skin so much that webs stretch marks have appeared across their face.

Kartel — who also started a failed condom business (they were known to split) — has likened skin bleaching to tanning, saying: “I feel comfortable with black people lightening their skin. They want a different look. It’s tantamount to white people getting a sun tan.”

Umm….no, sir, it isn’t. Have a seat.

His new line of skin products dubbed “Vybz” are set to hit the market soon.
