From NME: Janet Jackson has been named as the Grinch Of The Year by animal rights group PETA.
The singer was given the dubious honor by the pressure group because they believe she has exploited the well-being of animals in her fashion choices more than any other celebrity in 2011.
According to JAM, Jackson – who teamed up with company Blackglamma to debut her line of fur clothing accessories in November – topped the list ahead of director Cameron Crowe and reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
PETA spokeswoman Wendy Wegner said: “While the holidays may be known as the season of giving and peace on earth, that’s not always the case for our animal friends.”
