Rapper Webbie, is due in court for questioning after being part of a murder scene. Webbie was performing in a nightclub in Alabama where a phone call was made to the police and a man with found with a gun wound to the chest. BET reports that the man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The Louisiana born rapper was questioned by law enforcement following a shooting at an Alabama nightclub that left one man dead. A police source who spoke to TMZ revealed that around 3AM Sunday, they responded to an emergency call from the local hotspot Primetime, where Webbie was the headlining act. When they arrived they found a man in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the chest. The man died later at the hospital and Webbie was called in for questioning.
Reps for the “Savage Life” rapper confirmed to TMZ that he was questioned by local authority, but was at no time charged or arrested for the crime. With little information to offer Webbie was set free by the police.
