Cable news personality Nancy Grace is no stranger to pushing people’s buttons. But a conspiratorial comment she’s made with regards to the death of Whitney Houston may be beyond anyone’s standard of good taste. While speculating about the cause of Houston’s demise, Grace asked her audience, “Who pushed Whitney Houston underwater?”

As speculation surrounding music legend Whitney Houston’s death grows, Nancy Grace insists there may be a more sinister plot in play.

The TV hostess and legal commentator appeared on CNN this afternoon to weigh in on the singer’s death.

She evoked the deaths of Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson in speaking about the prescription drugs Houston may have had in her system, and who may have given them to her.

She said: ‘I’d like to know who was around her, who, if anyone gave her drugs – following alcohol and drugs – and who let her slip, or pushed her, underneath that water? Apparently, no signs of force or trauma to the body…’
