A former Lil Wayne protege, partner in crime to Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y is a dope rapper known for his word play. And love of weed of course. Don’t let the industry co-signs from Jay Eletronica and Mos Def fool you that he’s out here to just drop knowledge. Spitta is ushering a new brand of weed rap that anyone who is a fan of hip hop wouldn’t mind listening to.

9.Kid Cudi
Kid Cudi smokes weed. His creativity when high has allowed him to create two critically acclaimed albums and he says it keeps him calm and sane. He’s also collaborated with more than one pothead rapper that’s on this countdown. Weed anthem “Marijuana” is a great track to jump into the mind of Cudder.

8. Wiz Khalifa
Finding a Wiz Khalifa track where there is no reference to weed is near impossible. His new album is called Rolling Papers. He has his own brand of rolling papers. Enough said.

Weezy’s love for marijuana (and other drugs) is well documented. A variety of drug related arrests in his past and no one to this day still actually knows what substance was in his trademark cup. One thing that cannot be argued is that some of Lil’ Wayne’s best music came when he was under the influence.

One of the funniest duos in hip-hop, Meth and Red have been rapping about Ganja since the early 90s. They are both seasoned actors mostly remembered for their smoker’s classic of a comedy “How High”.

Before 3-6 were winning Grammys, they were legends in the south for their horror core rap and their sinister production sound.”Songs like half on Sack” and “Stay Fly (High)” are pothead anthems and are still some of the most requested songs at any 3-6 Mafia concert.

Psychadelic rap group Cypress Hill make it clear they’re weed enthusiasts. Tripped out synthesizers along with heavy bass drums have been a staple of their sound since their debut album in 1991. Listen to their classic song, “I Wanna Get High” and you’ll understand why ranked them as number 2 on our list.
