Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Detroit’s 3rd Circuit Judge Wade McCree, who specializes in trying sexual misconduct cases, was recently busted for texting a nearly nude photo (from the waist up, shirtless) of himself to a married court bailiff on his payroll.

When confronted by Fox 2 News, McCree had a surprising reaction — he admits, quite proudly, to not only taking the picture, but to having sent it to various women.

“Hot dog, yep that’s me. I’ve got no shame in my game. I ain’t talking to nobody else’s wife. You can almost get that here and now,” said the married man.

The husband of the bailiff who allegedly received McCree’s photo, spoke to Fox 2 News, calling the behavior “highly inappropriate.”

When asked what the photo says about the judge’s character, the husband said it’s very telling of what the public doesn’t see.

“It says a lot; that [he’s] flawed. He’s not what he appears to be, at least not to the general public. He has access to kids, he has access to different charitable functions. He’s being looked upon as some great figure. But according to the picture, you can see what it’s really about,” he said.

But McCree insists that “there’s nothing nude about it.”

“I’ve sent that out to other women,” he says, dodging the question of whether or not his wife is alright with that.

“I’m in no more clothes than I’ll be at the Y this afternoon when I swim my mile,” he continues.

The bailiff’s husband plans to file a complaint with the prosecutor and the Judicial Tenure Commission.

According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, Michigan has yet to enact any law or legislation regarding the transmission of nude or “indecent” photos via cell phones (i.e. sexting).
