Rapper David Banner is not only a well respected producer but he’s also an activist. Since Trayvon Martin’s shooting, Banner has been one of the celebrity voices raising awareness about the case in the hip-hop community. He sat down with theGrio to discuss the ongoing trial and whether or not rappers have a moral responsibility to speak about Trayvon and other pressing social issues.
