Last night’s biggest performance at radio station Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert could have come from female rapper Nicki Minaj and all of her guests.

But it never happened.

After weeks of anticipation and build up, Nicki Minaj and her “history-making” performance did not occur because group leader Lil’ Wayne cancelled her headlining appearance. The cancellation happened after one of Hot 97’s hosts Peter Rosenberg got on stage and disrespected Nicki Minaj and one of her songs. Rosenberg said, “I know there are some chicks here waiting to sing ‘Starships’ later, I’m not talking to y’all right now, **** that bull****.”

Rosenberg continued: “Bull****! I’m here to talk about real Hip-Hop.”

Nicki Minaj responded on Twtter: “Wow. U ****** just [messed] up history. But the President has spoken. #YMCMB. I go above and beyond for my fans. But won’t ever go against wayne’s word. What he says, goes.”

Meaning the Young Money crew was ordered not to grace the Hot 97 Summer Jam stage.
