From Frugivore Magazine: Pop artist Flo Rida was taken aback during a performance at the Bank United Arena after, halfway through, two breast cancer advocates awarded the multi-platinum artist and his manager, Freezy, for their generous contributions to breast cancer research.

Flo Rida has been active in the breast cancer community, performing at multiple events and using his celebrity to help raise awareness in impoverished neighborhoods about why it’s so important for women and men to embrace preventative care for cancer.

By raising over a million dollars for breast cancer research, and by caring for and helping people who need support, Flo Rida has definitely bought his way into the hearts of his fans who keep him at the top of the charts consistently.
