Music producer, creative director for Reebok and philanthropist Swizz Beatz can add another notch to his belt, as he was just recently selected to become the Global Ambassador for the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation.

HipHopDX reports that Beatz will aid the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and the Fund for the HHC by raising global awareness and financial support for its programs. The husband of Alicia Keys will be concentrating on strengthening the relationship between therapeutic healing and the arts.

“[Swizz Beatz] is committed to using his creativity, his innovation, and his international stature to help spread the HHC message on a global scale to promote better health in our city and our world,” said Executive Director of the Fund for HHC, Joe Schick.

The Ruff Ryders producer role will officially begin on September 27th, and we can only wish Swizz Beatz the best in his latest endeavor.
