Nothing marks the holiday season like hearing Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” repeatedly on television commercials, at tree lightings, and while Christmas shopping.

But the Grammy-Award-winning singer joined comedian Jimmy Fallon and The Roots last night for a new rendition of her holiday hit on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Changing up her 1994 Christmas classic a little bit, Fallon and The Roots played instruments you’d find in an elementary school classroom, including the kazoo, Fisher Price xylophone, and recorder.

In addition to Fallon and The Roots, several children joined the stars on-stage, adding to the already infectious scene.
