Basketball Wives star and reality television personality Evelyn Lozada recently posed nude in the latest PETA anti-fur ad.

The winter-themed ad was shot by celebrity photographer Drexina Nelson all apart of the campaign “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur.”

Lozada admits that in the past she has owned and worn fur clothing, but after seeing the graphic videos of what animals suffer, she has had a change of heart.

“I’m an animal lover,” Lozada told PETA. “I was definitely one of those people who wore fur years ago. I was looking online and I [saw] how these animals are tortured and skinned, and you don’t really realize the hurt and the pain they go through just for fashion. I want to be a voice for them.”

Lozada thinks that it is important for parents to tell their children about animal rights.

Any change that Lozada can help bring about, even if only one life saved, she’s okay with.

“Hopefully, if I could change someone’s mind by not wearing fur, then I’ve saved an animal,” Lozada said.
