The Chris Brown, Rihanna saga continues.

The on-again, off-again duo spent Christmas together court side at the Lakers vs. Knicks game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

December 25th marked Chris Brown and Rihanna’s first public appearance together since 2009.

The singers were “laughing and chatting” and “looked happy together,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly.

So are they back together?  The two have not confirmed whether they are officially dating again, but they did leave the NBA game hand-in-hand.

Later in the day, Rihanna posted a photo of the pair together on Instagram with the caption “ThugLife #merryChristmas.”

The past few months have been an emotional roller-coaster ride of sorts for the duo.  Chris Brown reportedly broke up with now ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran in October in an effort to stay ‘friends’ with Rihanna.  Shortly after news of the breakup, both Rihanna and Brown posted photos together via social media, leading some to believe they had reconciled.

Yet earlier this month Rihanna was reportedly upset with Brown for visiting Tran in Paris. The pop diva eventually tweeted an “I miss you” with a photo of her laying in Brown’s arm.

Adding to the confusion even more, the “Diamonds” singer tweeted “being single sucks,” on December 18th via an E-card.
