Police are currently investigating Grammy-Award-winning singer Chris Brown for an alleged fight outside a West Hollywood studio, according to the Associated Press.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to an altercation involving six men that “allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim.”

The “victim” has been rumored to be fellow recording artist Frank Ocean.

Following the the incident, the Odd Future singer took to his Twitter:

got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest was there.—

cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys.—
frank ocean (@frank_ocean) January 28, 2013

This latest alleged conflict is not the first between Brown and Ocean.

A Twitter beef started between the R&B stars in June of 2011 when Brown, in an attempt to compliment Ocean, tweeted: “I f**k with Frank Ocean! Reminds me of a young James Fauntleroy or Kevin Cossum.”

In response Ocean tweeted: “I f**k with chris brown, reminds me of a young sisqo or ike turner.”

The social media back-and-forth continued as Brown responded with several tweets aimed at Ocean and the Odd Future hip-hop collective, including Tyler The Creator.

The ongoing feud seemed to have been squashed by Brown and Odd Future via Twitter, but events that followed suggest the stars are still at it.

Just over a year later in July 2012, recently after Frank Ocean came out as bisexual, Brown was asked about the singer while leaving a nightclub in Cannes, to which the “Look At Me Now” singer responded: “Man, no homo.”

After receiving criticism for what some considered a homophobic remark, Brown tweeted, “My opinion on the whole Frank Ocean subject is…love who you want to love.”

The two singers have seemed to have been playing nice since then, until last night’s incident.

NBC News reports Brown was gone by the time police arrived, and no arrests have been made.
