Kanye West performed two new songs on this week’s Saturday Night Live, and if viewers were expecting eclectic imagery and lyrics reminiscent of his last appearance on the show, they weren’t disappointed.

Kanye’s first performance of the night was punk rock-reminiscent “Black Skinhead,” which featured rapidly flashing imagery projected on a giant screen behind him on the darkened stage. The images of sales receipts were interspersed with the repeated message “Not For Sale.” And West interspersed his lyrics with loud shrieks, over the pulsating track.

For “New Slaves,” West added a closeup projection of his own face, in black and white.

The episode, hosted by actor Ben Affleck, marked the final appearance on the show for cast-member Bill Hader, whose popular character Stefan got an epic sendoff, complete with a mock wedding with CNN’s Anderson cooper that was broken up by the star-crossed “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Myers, who will also be leaving the show, soon. Myers will take over the NBC 12:30 a.m. late show next year, when Jimmy Fallon takes over The Tonight Show.

The 35-year-old rapper unleashed the n-word several times during his performances, which somehow got past the censors.
